This is another wonderful American art pottery bowl, made and signed by Pitts, one of the many talented art pottery makers at the University of Georgia, ca. 1960s.  The large bowl has circumferential bands of browns and beiges on the outside with a stylized flower design in the center; it was created using soft earth tones of browns, tan, blue and beige. It has the signature "Pitts" on the base, as well as "A10" marked on the bottom rim.

DIMENSIONS: height: 3 7/8" (9.84cm)

                       diameter of base: 5 1/8" (13 cm)

CONDITION: good; no chips or scratches; there is a crack along the inside bottom of the bowl (see photos).
