ITEM DESCRIPTION:  This is a wonderful sepia watercolor on paper depicting two men resting/stopping in front of the ruin of a castle tower. It is dated 1753 and we think the artist might be English or French.  Even though unknown, you can tell the artist was very skillful--there is great detail.  This watercolor has been matted, framed and is behind glass. Please see all photos for details.

DIMENSIONS:   frame size: height--22"; width--18"
